Camille and Henry Dreyfus Foundation PhD Scholarship
Camille and Henry Dreyfus were natives of the Basel area and completed their doctoral work in chemistry at the University of Basel. To celebrate this legacy and promote the next generation of discoveries in chemistry the Camille and Henry Dreyfus Foundation, in collaboration with the Department of Chemistry at the University of Basel, is offering a PhD fellowship to support studies in chemistry.
Your position
The next scholarship is foreseen to begin on 1 September 2023 and will cover a full PhD stipend at the University of Basel for the time of study up to a maximum of four years. The doctoral studies will follow the PhD requirements at the University of Basel.
Your profile
The scholarship is addressed to highly motivated students who are eligible to enroll in the PhD programme at the University of Basel. The applicant should be someone who appreciates that chemistry can be a force for positive change in the world. Applicants are encouraged to contact potential supervisors ahead of application submission to learn whether there is space available in a specific research group and to define a potential research project.
