Inorganic chemistry at the Department of Chemistry in Basel covers a broad spectrum of topics ranging from coordination, materials and photophysical chemistry to artificial metalloenzymes, lanthanoid metal tagging of proteins and nanomaterials. Interdiscipliniary approaches are at the core of our research efforts and we are supported by a state-of-the-art instrument park.
